The Coronado Yacht Club Sail Fleet was established for the purpose of encouraging and promoting the sport of sailing within the membership of the Club.
Membership is extended to all members of the Club who are owners, charterers, crew members or principal users of sailboats in active use at the Club.
Meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Staff Commodores Room at the Clubhouse. There are no dues. Any member of Coronado Yacht Club, guests and crew members interested in the objectives of the Sail Fleet are welcome to attend.
A quorum shall consist of nine Sail Fleet members and shall be required for all meetings.
The organization's two officers are elected by the members. 2012 Sail Fleet Captain, Bev Burroughs and 2012 Secretary-Treasurer, Dave Flint
Committees are appointed by the Sail Fleet Captain and for 2012 season: Race Committee: (Fred Hawes Chair),( Mike Lewis) Assist. Chair, CYC Handicap (Steve Streifer), Adult Sail (Tim Coon),SBC Rep ( Neil McGuinness), PHRF Rep. (Glenn Welch). Allie Collier: Trophy. Other Committees may be appointed by Sail Fleet Captain as needed
The Regular meeting of November of each year shall be the Annual Election meeting.
